Occupational Health & Safety Program

The Occupational Health and Safety Program is a well-designed and comprehensive approach to safety, training, and medical surveillance for faculty, staff and students working in laboratories and/or in contact with tissues, blood, and body fluids.

The goal of the program is to protect faculty, staff and students through prevention training and by providing appropriate and timely response to injuries, illnesses and exposures. The program will be reviewed annually and enhanced as necessary.
