Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Materials Management is to administer the procurement of goods and services for Eastern Virginia Medical School with the objective of obtaining the best overall value in a timely manner while providing quality customer service for internal customers.

The success of quality efforts is critically dependent on the personal involvement of all employees in the Quality Process. Constant awareness of customer requirements, taking action to meet those requirements, and ongoing identification of areas for improvement are at the heart of this process.
