Yeiser, M.D. Outstanding Operational Medical Director Award" from the Tidewater Emergency Medical Services Council, September 15, 2002 The EVMS EM Residency won the Second Annual Virginia ACEP Emergency Medicine Residency Quiz Bowl Competition, August 1, 2002. They competed against Emergency Medicine residency teams from the Medical College of Virginia, the University of Virginia, and the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. This is the second time in a row our EM residents won this award.
