The Cardiovascular and Renal Focus Group was established to promote research and discussion on topics related to cardiovascular and renal physiology and pathophysiology.

The Focus Group sponsors a Journal Club attended by faculty, students, and laboratory personnel that meets at 12 noon on first and third Tuesdays in the Lewis Hall, Room 2023. Topics covered include recent data from individual laboratories, material generated for grant applications and recent journal articles of importance. Outside speakers from the scientific community are sponsored by the Focus Group to make presentations of interest to the members of the Focus Group.
