Program Description
The President's Staff Achievement Awards honor outstanding performance by staff of Eastern Virginia Medical School. The awards are presented at an annual ceremony where the school also honors outstanding faculty and recognizes employees who have achieved milestone years of continuous service. Check out the employees who are marking milestone years of service in 2011 and read about the inaugural ceremony and the 2010 award recipients. Nominations are being accepted through September 30, 2011. The awards will be presented at the EVMS Service and Recognition Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 Nomination procedureThe President's Staff Achievement Awards are presented in five categories. Please use the online nomination forms linked below. The nominator provides the name, title and department of the nominee and submits these together with an essay of up to 200 words describing the accomplishments of the nominee. The 2011 President's Staff Achievement Awards Committee is composed of previous award recipients. The committee will evaluate the nominations and select the 2011 recipients. Nominations are sought in the following categories:

Each recipient will receive a monetary award and a commemorative plaque.
