EVMS is different. Since its earliest days, the health of the community has been the school's central focus. EVMS is part of the Eastern Virginia Medical Center campus, which contains two hospitals and several other affiliated organizations.
The school's mix of full-time faculty members work in concert with physicians and health-care professionals throughout the community to provide a well-rounded educational curriculum to a broad range of students in medical and health-professions programs. Enrollment is growing across all disciplines.
EVMS offers a variety of graduate and doctoral degrees in the medical and health professions. We also offer residency and fellowship programs to provide medical school graduates with advanced training in their chosen specialty. EVMS hosts approximately 325 residents annually, spanning 38 residency, fellowship and internship programs.
