This 5 hours of instruction in Adult, Infant and Child CPR, AED training, and assessment techniques used by professional rescuers is based on the most current AHA guidelines. Includes 2-rescuer CPR and BVM and AED scenario practice, a written test, and a 2-year certification issued the day of class.

Basic care and handling of children, including first aid and CPR (includes choking emergencies). The focus also will be on getting a job, playing with children, saftey in the home, changing diapers, and feeding children. Lots of hands on practice, games and tips taught by a certified nanny/instructor. Babysitting Certificate provided.

BLS for Healthcare Providers Online
Another option for those needing the Healthcare Provider course is the flexible online course. Students complete the online cognitive portion on the computer. After completing the computer based program, print the completion certificate, and schedule a skills check with one of our instructors. Skills checks can usually be done within a day or two of calling to schedule.

Basic Life Support Instructor Course - $450- two days, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
The course is designed to teach those with current BLS Health Care Provider certification how to teach all levels of AHA CPR and First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen courses. A letter of recommendation is required. Course materials include: Core Instructor course, a copy of the Healthcare Provider student manual, and a copy of the HS First Aid and CPR textbook. Heartsaver First Aid - $60 - 3 hours
3 hours of instruction designed for persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community, as well as those who want to learn first aid. Class includes: caring for bleeding emergencies, seizures, heat and cold related injuries, head, neck and spine care, and assessment of patients. 2-year certification. This course does not include CPR/AED training.
