    • Dr. Parish graduated from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Lake Erie College PA Program in 1981 earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. He earned a Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Michigan in 1989 with concentrations in Gerontology and Public Health Policy. He then completed a Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2004, focusing on health education and cross cultural communication. He worked in several clinical areas during his career including, inpatient Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Dermatology and Dermatology clinical research. He has been in PA education since March 2001 when he was a faculty member at the Medical College of Ohio and became Director of the EVMS PA Program in 2004.
