Application Process

Applying to the Master of Physician Assistant (MPA) program begins with a review of our Admission Requirements, which are detailed in the MPA Admissions Guidelines booklet (pdf).

Individuals with broad educational backgrounds, prior health-care experience, and those who are under-represented in the health-care professions are encouraged to apply for admission.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

It is the applicant’s responsibility to follow up with CASPA and EVMS to make sure all requirements are met and documents received in a timely manner to comply with the published deadlines.

Please note the following DEADLINES remian in effect for matriculation into the specific classes below:

EVMS Supplemental Application Deadline*	March 1^st 2013	March 1^st 2014	March 1^st 2015
Graduation	May 2016	May 2017	May 2018

*The EVMS Supplemental Application can only be finalized once you complete ALL prerequisite courses and have received an official grade for the courses to self-report.

NOTE: It is best to apply to our program shortly after you have COMPLETED all eight (8) prerequisite courses and have the final grades listed on your transcript.

Early Application does not guarantee an interview or give the application any advantage. All applications will be considered as if they arrived at the same time.

Healthcare experience for currently held positions will be assumed to continue through March 1^st and will be extrapolated by our Application Screening Committee.

	Matriculation & Orientation	1^st week of January 2014
