Current Community Preceptors
Thank you for your continued support of medical education at EVMS. Without the support of our community physicians and health professionals we would not be able to provide this valuable learning environment for our students.
The MD and Health Professions programs have a significant need for community preceptors. Your involvement can be tailored to your schedule from mentoring one student at a time or reshaping the delivery of care through integrating a “team-approach” by mentoring MD and PA students together.
Would you consider expanding your mentoring talents to add a student from a different program than the one you currently support?
Current Preceptor Checklist:
- Review the Community Preceptor Programs for mentoring opportunities throughout EVMS.
- Complete the Program Availability Form to identify the programs you wish to participate in for 2013-2014. The Office of Clinical Placements will notify the programs of your interest and the programs will contact you about specific dates and requirements of rotations.
- If you are not currently a member of our Community Faculty, please complete the application and return it along with a copy of your CV.
Availability Forms and Community Faculty Applications may be emailed to Lauren Mackey.
