Pain Management Fellowship

Our department offers a one-year pain management fellowship under the direction of Dr. Antonio Quidgley-Nevares.

Fellows learn comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with pain. They gain expertise in interventional pain management procedures including, but not limited to, cervical, lumbar and caudal epidural steroid injections; sacroiliac joint injections; facet blocks; intercostal nerve blocks; peripheral joint injections; and spinal cord stimulator trials.

In addition, Dr. Quidgley works closely with local neurosurgeons for intrathecal pump medication trials and management. During the year, fellows gain experience in pain management from physiatric, anesthesia and neurology perspectives in both adult and pediatric patients, including end of life care.
