Tidewater Pediatric Society

Tidewater Pediatric Society (TPS) promotes collegial interactions between community physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters subspecialists. TPS meets the education goals of community and hospital pediatricians by providing up-to-date medical information on etiologies, diagnoses and management of common pediatric illnesses that can be applied to the clinical care of children.

TPS meetings occur four times per year; the evening begins with a one-hour reception followed by dinner. At the conclusion of dinner, TPS members enjoy dessert and coffee while an engaging one-hour presentation is given by medical experts, both local and international. Each lecture provides one hour of category 1 credit. Please note that advanced reservations are required for all dinner meetings.

Membership

New members are typically inducted in every January; likewise, this is when dues for membership are initiated/renewed. Please consult the TPS membership application for fee amounts. Feel free to contact EVMS Pediatrics based at CHKD, (757) 668-7486, to learn more about TPS.
