Tidewater Pediatric Society

The Tidewater Pediatric Society (TPS) promotes collegial interactions between community physicians, physician assistants, nurse practioners, and Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters subspecialists. TPS meets the education goals of community and hospital pediatricians by providing up-to-date medical information on etiologies, diagnoses, and management of common pediatric illnesses which can be applied to the clinical care of children.

TPS meetings occur four times per year; the evening begins with a 1 hour reception followed by dinner.  At the conclusion of dinner, TPS members enjoy dessert and coffee while an engaging 1 hour presentation is given by medical experts, both local and abroad. Each lecture provides 1 hour of category 1 credit.  Please note that advanced reservations are required for all dinner meetings.

Membership

New members are typically inducted in January of every year; likewise, this is when dues for membership are initiated/renewed. Please consult the TPS membership application for fee amounts. Feel free to contact the CHKD Department of Pediatrics, (757) 668-7486, to learn more about TPS.
