CAP Fellowship: How to Apply

The training program at CHKD is accredited by the ACGME and successful graduates are eligible for child abuse pediatrics boards certification administered by the American Board of Pediatrics. The program is open to graduates of accredited pediatric residencies. Potential fellows are encouraged to apply for positions 18 months before they plan to begin their fellowship.

Applications should be submitted through ERAS; the fellowship director reviews all completed applications and selects a pool of applicants that are invited to interview with our faculty in the summer of each year (typically July-September) for a Fall match. One fellowship position is awarded annually through the NRMP for a term of 3 years.
