Pediatric Pulmonology
Overview
The Division of Pulmonology provides consultative and attending physician services to patients from birth through adolescence with acute and chronic respiratory diseases. A major focus of the Pulmonology division involves the evaluation, care and management of children with:
- ventilators
- racheotomy tubes
- supplemental oxygen
- apnea-bradycardia monitors
- asthma
- cystic fibrosis
- bronchopulmonary dysplasia
- pneumonias
- interstitial lung diseases
Inpatient consultation services are provided twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. An educational consultant is available in their clinics to meet every patient.
