    • Bio:
    • Dr. Lauren Scott knew she wanted to become a physician very early in her childhood. "My family cared for my ailing grandfather. I was fortunate to witness some amazing doctors who provided Pops with care through his numerous strokes and heart attacks. I've always wanted to provide the same compassionate care to my patients and their families."

Having just completed her residency at the Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of South Florida, Dr. Scott joins Drs. Peter Takacs and Kindra Larson at EVMS Urogynecology.

"Our practice provides comprehensive care for women with pelvic floor disorders which includes treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction and pelvic pain. Treatment includes conservative therapies with pelvic floor rehabilitation in our office, as well as surgical treatment. I specialize in minimally invasive approaches including laparoscopic and robotic procedures."

Dr. Scott sums up her practice philosophy, "As we age, we need to be more open to recognizing and treating prolapse and incontinence. My goal is always to help women with pelvic floor disorders live their lives to their fullest."
