Message from the Director
Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Nephrology Fellowship Training Program at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). We are excited and proud to announce that the nephrology fellowship is the newest subspecialty program to join the outstanding family of graduate medical education programs offered at EVMS. Our first fellow will match in 2013 and begin training in July 2014. The goal of our fellowship program is to produce future leaders in clinical nephrology, either as academic clinician educators or as community-based nephrologists. Our comprehensive and well-balanced training occurs at three sites - Eastern Virginia Medical School, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton. Rotations are designed to capitalize on the state-of-the-art facilities and resources at each of the three locations. Please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact our program coordinator, Rhiannon Sims, at email@example.com to learn more about what our program has to offer.
