Program Overview/Highlights 

The Emergency Medicine residency program has maintained Continued Full Accreditation by the ACGME as well as the Resident Review Committee (RRC) since 1981.

Our program proudly serves as a center of excellence in Emergency Medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia providing leadership in clinical, academic and prehospital services. 

We offer outstanding, well thought out and organized didactic curriculum and multiple Simulation Lab experiences, all in a friendly and supportive learning environment.
