Dr. Gonzalez, who recently established the EVMS Division of Sports Medicine and the Eastern Virginia Sports Concussion Program, is an expert in the evaluation and treatment of young and collegiate athletes. As a resident, he trained to diagnose and care for the entire spectrum of traumatic brain injury, from mild concussions to acute head trauma.
The Redskins are hosting the forum in conjunction with USA Football to recognize and thank the coaches for their hard work and dedication. The coaches will also have an opportunity to attend the mini-camp practice, meet and visit with head coach Mike Shanahan as well as other members of the Redskins coaching staff.
