Major renovations to the first floor of Lewis Hall will begin this August. The newly-renovated space will include upgrades to the Brickell Library, a new student lounge area, a new bookstore with café, and renovated administrative offices.

The following Offices will move to Smith-Rogers Hall, located at 358 Mowbray Arch, on July 9, 2010:

• Medical Admissions, Minority Affairs: first floor
• Education, Student Affairs, Faculty Development: second floor
• Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Performance and Evaluation: fourth floor

All phone numbers and email addresses of personnel who are relocating will remain the same.

In August, the Health Professions offices and the Student Lounge will move to temporary mobile units proximal to Lewis Hall and Andrews Hall.

Roper Lecture Hall, McCombs Auditorium, Hodgen Basic Science Conference room, Matthew's Bookstore, and the Academic Computer Center will remain at their current location.

Shuttle service is available for transportation between Lewis Hall and Smith Rogers Hall. The On Call shuttle service number is 446-5199 and the response time is within 10 minutes. This service is available 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The shuttle system also has a continuing 10-minute north-campus loop service Monday through Friday from  5:30 a.m. until midnight.
