Safety issues at Lewis Hall |
|
|
A message from Jack Beasley, Director of Physical Facilities: Demolition of the brick on the South side of Lewis Hall will begin Thursday morning Oct. 14th at 6:00 AM. For safety reasons we will have to close the South entrance of Lewis Hall (Olney Rd. side adjacent to the courtyard) for two days. This entrance will be closed during the hours of 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th. We also will not allow anyone to exit these doors during these hours except in the case of an emergency such as a fire alarm. There will be very clear signage in place inside and outside these doors. Please pay attention to them. They are for your safety. Also please cross streets only at appropriate crossings and obey all construction signage for everyone's safety. The entry points to the Jones, Lewis, Brickell buildings will be Jones front door, Brickell Library Atrium and Lewis Hall security entrance near loading dock. Thank you for your cooperation. |
