September 22, 2010 The goal of the HIV/AIDS Fall Summit is to increase competence for physicians to navigate systems for patients with multiple socioeconomic issues related to HIV/AIDS, and to enhance knowledge of medications prescribed for HIV community and new issues related to an aging HIV population.

Target Audience: This program is designed for physicians treating HIV/AIDS patients, internists, endocrinologists, residents, other interested allied health professionals and HIV/AIDS peer educators. Accreditation: Eastern Virginia Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Designation: Eastern Virginia Medical School designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AAPA accepts Category 1 credit for AOACCME, Prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM from organizations accredited by ACCME. |
