Western Tidewater Free Clinic

Eastern Virginia Medical School sends physicians, residents and students from both Internal Medicine and Community and Family Medicine to the Western Tidewater Free Clinic (WTFC) to help provide care to the local population of the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton. The clinic provides high-quality, non-emergency health care to residents of Western Tidewater who do not have insurance or are below 200% of the federal poverty level. The vision of the WTFC is to provide care and create solutions for a healthy community. It serves individuals between the ages of 19 and 64 with no medical insurance who live at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Patients must be residents of the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton.
