Research Summary

The Cardiovascular and Renal Research Center was established to promote research and discussion on topics related to cardiovascular and renal physiology and pathophysiology. The goal is to promote collaboration among the members of the center, provide mutual support and exchange research ideas.

The Center sponsors a Journal Club attended by faculty, students, and laboratory personnel that meets at 12 noon on first and third Tuesdays in the Lewis Hall, Room 2023. Topics covered include recent data from individual laboratories, material generated for grant applications and recent journal articles of importance. Outside speakers from the scientific community are sponsored by the Center to make presentations of interest to the members of the Center.
