The EVMS Department of Physiological Sciences and the Office of the Dean cordially invite you to attend a retirement reception in honor of William J. Cooke, PhD, on Monday, Dec. 17 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Brickell Medical Sciences Library Atrium. RSVP by Dec. 12 to Sandy Huband at 446-5619.Dr. Cooke joined the faculty in 1977. He served the school in many capacities including Chair of the Department of Pharmacology (1984-1997), Associate Dean for Research (1990-1995) and Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education (1995-2002). He has taught countless medical and graduate students and maintained a keen interest in and support for biomedical research during his 35-year career at EVMS.
