Internal Medicine, Combined FM/IM, Geriatric/Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Transitional Year Programs receive residency applications over the Internet using ERAS - the Electronic Residency Application Service from the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Apply here.

Minimum requirements for applying to our program are:

  • A minimum score of 185 and above on the first attempt (please indicate if your medical school requires a passing score on Step 2 in order to graduate)
  • Strongly prefer graduation from medical school within five years
  • Strongly prefer completion of at least 12 months hands-on clinical experience in the United States
  • International graduates: strongly prefer ECFMG certification, CSA and other required tests taken and passed. Our Residency Program sponsors J-1 visas.

Only ERAS applications are accepted. The deadline for accepting applications is December 31.

ERAS was developed to save time and effort for all involved in the residency application process — applicants, schools, and programs — while using the Internet for the rapid delivery of residency applications, transcripts, dean's letter and recommendation letters. The ERAS is designed to consolidate and streamline the process at every stage.

The ERAS application includes all traditional components of a residency application, including the application itself, a personal statement, dean's letter, medical school transcript, letters of recommendation, past employment and volunteer activities. In addition, upon the applicant's request, a USMLE transcript, including test history and scores, may be included. A photograph may be provided for each applicant, which may be viewed after the student has been invited for an interview.

In order to use ERAS, you will need an electronic token, which is a special code that allows you to register and access MyERAS online. After completing your registration, you will access MyERAS using a self-created password and and ID assigned by the AAMC.

Contact your designated Dean's Office for your electronic token. Only your own designated Dean's Office can generate an electronic token you can use.
