EVMS MD Admissions Application

The MD admissions process begins after a completed application is received from the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). Electronic applications and the instructions for completing the AMCAS application can be accessed through the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Website.

This application contains information about the applicant, including a “personal comments” section and a record of the applicant’s academic performance. In addition to academic information, the application should include other “life” experiences such as health care exposures, volunteerism opportunities, and work employment history.

School of Health Professions Admissions Application

The health professions programs offered by EVMS provide training at a progressive, nationally recognized medical school and in clinical and community facilities throughout the Hampton Roads area. EVMS has affiliations with many community partners, including rural and urban clinics, modern hospitals and other health-care settings.

Residency Applications

Internal Medicine, Combined FM/IM, Geriatric/Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Transitional Year Programs receive residency applications over the Internet using ERAS - the Electronic Residency Application Service from the Association of American Medical Colleges.
