 Outlook:
Replying to a Message
- To reply to a received e-mail message, open the message
you want to reply to (or just highlight the message).
To reply only to the sender of the message, click on the Reply button on the Toolbar (one
person with arrow).
- To reply to all the recipients of the message listed in
the To: and the CC: boxes of the original message, click on the Reply to All button on the
Toolbar (two persons with arrow).
- The To: box is automatically filled in. The subject line
is the same as in the original message (change it if you desire). You can type your reply
above the original message. If you don't want to include the original message, simply
highlight the information and press delete on your keyboard.
- Use the same techniques listed on the instruction sheet
for sending a message to complete your reply.
- Note: As you type your reply, the color
of the letters will be blue; the original message is in black.
- Note: If you want to add your signature
line to this message and you have set up AutoSignature, click on Insert on the menu bar;
then choose AutoSignature. (Refer to "Sending a
Message.")
