Our Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows you to be reimbursed using these pre-tax savings for out-of-pocket medical expenses that you incur for yourself or your covered dependents. These expenses can include the costs of medical, dental or vision products or services, or certain prescription drugs, as eligible.
EVMS provides its employees with the option of participating in a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), administered by Flexible Benefit Administrators, Inc. The plan allows the employee to contribute pre-tax earnings to cover expenses related to dependent care. Types of care covered under this type of flexible spending account include care provided by a child care provider to the employee's children under the age of 13, as well as for care provided to a dependent of any age who is mentally or physically incapable of self-care.
