EVMS is grateful for the generous philanthropists who have helped the school become an essential community asset. To show our appreciation, we've established giving societies that honor the exceptional donors whose ongoing support enables our continued pursuit of excellence.
The premier echelon of giving to EVMS, the Ferguson Society recognizes members' lifetime contributions of $25,000 or more to the school. It was named for the late Virginia Glennan Ferguson, an extraordinary philanthropist, and comprises seven tiers of giving:
The Legacy Society honors friends and alumni of EVMS who have made a documented planned gift to EVMS. This society allows EVMS to thank and acknowledge donors for their contributions prior to their gift being realized.
Once the gift is realized, the donor will also be listed in the Ferguson Society if eligible.
The Hague Society, named after the iconic body of water near campus, allows EVMS to recognize donors who give $1,000 or more during a single fiscal year.
The 1973 Society honors EVMS alumni who commit to giving $2,500 or more per year for a minimum of five years to an EVMS fund of their choice. Those who have graduated within the past 10 years and commit to giving $1,000 per year for five years are also inducted.
