Visit EVMS March 1
February 23, 2007
Governor
Tim Kaine will visit Eastern Virginia Medical School Thursday, March
1, to highlight his health initiatives for Virginia.
The event, which is free and open to
the public, will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the
atrium of the EVMS Brickell Library. The Brickell Library
is located in Norfolk at the corner of Olney Road and Children's Lane.
See our campus map for location and
parking information (564k

Governor Kaine has made improving the
health of Virginia a central priority of his administration. Under his
leadership, Virginia has launched several new initiatives that have the
potential to greatly improve the health of our region and our state.
Some of these initiatives will result in immediate improvements in areas
like access to care for low-income families. Others, like the
Health Reform Commission he established last July, are focused on
developing long-term strategies that would make significant improvements
in health and health care for all Virginians.
