NORFOLK—For the second time this year, EVMS
students will be holding a series of Medicare Part D enrollment fairs at
the school to help seniors choose a Medicare drug prescription plan to
meet their needs. Existing Medicare Part D participants are also
encouraged to come in and review their current plan as many have changed
since the initial enrollment last year. Individual aid will be provided
by students trained by Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia.
Free enrollment assistance will be
offered at the EVMS Brickell Medical Sciences Library Dec. 16.
Enrollment assistance will consist of four 90-minute sessions which
start each day at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
EVMS students want to register as many
seniors as possible before the December 31 prescription enrollment deadline.
To register for one of the enrollment sessions, contact the EVMS Office
of Institutional Advancement at 446-6070.
