The EVMS Police and Public Safety office is pleased to announce that we are offering enhanced services to EVMS emergency notification system users. We have partnered with Rave Mobile Safety to provide the EVMS Rave Alert notification system, which delivers messages to your mobile phone and email address in the event of an emergency.

EVMS Rave Alert subscribers will be able to manage emergency services in one online location and choose features that include the EVMS Rave Guardian service, which transforms your mobile phone into a personal alarm beacon that allows EVMS Police to respond more quickly when you need help.

You have been automatically enrolled in the new system for EVMS email alerts. If you provided your mobile phone number when you joined EVMS, we are in the process of automatically enrolling you in the new system for mobile alerts. You will soon begin to receive EVMS Rave Alert emergency notification alerts on your mobile phone.

We encourage you to log in to the EVMS Rave Alert website to confirm your contact information. At that time, you can click on the Guardian Tab, create your EVMS Rave Guardian Profile and review more information, including a list of FAQs regarding this new feature designed to enhance our safety and security programs.

If you wish to opt out of the EVMS Rave Alert system, please login to your EVMS Rave Alert account and opt out of text messages. Please note that you cannot opt out of receiving alerts to your EVMS email account.
